MEET DR. LORNE SHULMAN
D.C., B.ED., B.A. - (Retired)

Education
Dr. Lorne Shulman graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto in 1984 with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. He also holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from York University. Throughout his career, he remained dedicated to ongoing education, earning advanced certification in the Activator Method and attending numerous seminars worldwide to refine his skills.

Professional Background
Dr. Shulman served the Kingston community with dedication and heart for over two decades. Known for his commitment to health and wellness, he cared for patients of all ages, including children, seniors, and athletes. His own experience with a high school football injury led him to chiropractic care—and ultimately inspired a lifelong mission to help others heal naturally.
Dr. Shulman’s approach combined technical expertise with a deep understanding of the importance of living an active, vibrant life. His personal love for golf, snowboarding, and staying active shaped both his philosophy and the care he provided.

A Family Legacy
After many meaningful years in practice shared with his wife Dr. Marie Houde, Dr. Shulman has now retired. He leaves behind a lasting legacy of compassion and clinical excellence. That legacy lives on through his daughter, Dr. Ali Houde-Shulman, who shares the same passion for helping patients reach their fullest potential through chiropractic care.
